Is it safe for a diabetes patient to undergo weight loss programs?

Postby brenda_sandra » Wed Apr 26, 2017 9:19 am

Is it safe for a diabetes patient to undergo men's weight loss programs? My husband is 64 years old and is a type 2 diabetic patient. Last day he had undergone the blood sugar level test and the result is not good. His doctor advised to workout regularly and to control his diet.
He loves eating and I don't know how he is going to maintain his blood sugar level and weight. He has put on another 10 pounds of weight in a week. I'm worried about his health.
One of my sisters suggested taking him to men's weight loss programs in Toronto ( http://www.harveybrooker.com/the-program/ ). I would like to know if it's worth spending money. Also, if there are any risks in undergoing any such programs. Thanks!!
