Diabetes is an age old epidemic and time to time there are lots of research and developments going on and time to time new studies and new medicine is being available at the diabetes centers? So, in 2016 what are the latest technological developments in the field of diabetes?

There is a study being done in Europe right now that could help people with Type 1 diabetes. It is a new therapy that could replace the need for insulin shots. Lab grown islets are being manufactured from reprogrammed donated pancreatic tissue. These are the organoids responsible for producing insulin.
