I found these recipes to be very interesting. I just might have to give them a try. I mostly drink green tea instead of black, because it is supposed to be healthier. The lady finger recipe is one I will definitely try because it sounds like it would be very beneficial.

There have been a few studies done and it looks like it lowers fasting glucose levels in type two diabetics. I know that it is full of antioxidants and that is probably why it has a positive effect. You would have to count this just like any other carbs you include in your diet.

Well, the biggest disruptions are to the blood sugar levels and also water regulation. Of course, everyone knows that these items are vital to your body and they must run perfectly for you to be in a balanced state. If either is off it can cause damage to other organs in your body.

Just like for anyone, always in moderation. You don't want to get carried away with it and cause your levels to get out of whack. Having one social drink is not going to put you at any dangerous level. To be safe you might want to check with your doctor first.
