At What A1C Level is the Pre-Diabetes Diagnosed?

So, for those with pre-diabetes are at a high risk of developing full-blown diabetes, How the hemoglobin A1c is conducted to identify the A1C levels are normal or pre-diabetic, maybe diabetic? Any why is the hemoglobin A1c test (HbA1c) is so important for people with diabetes?

What are the lessor known Symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes has lot of symptoms which are well known.. Are there any of the less known type 2 diabetes symptoms? Sometimes, few of the symptoms may be overlooked or generally unknown to many which could have been avoided in the beginning had they known it could have been potential lead to diabetes?
